THE AREA

The moment you drive through the archway into The Mere Hotel Golf Resort and Spa’s grounds, you will feel as if you have been transported to a lush haven of relaxation, secluded from the noise and stress of everyday life it’s the perfect place to indulge in a bit of pampering and relaxation.

The hotel resort is situated in acres of Cheshire parkland outside of Manchester and it is set on the edge of The Mere Lake- a perfect setting for a relaxing spa break -or a spa and golf break as there is also an 18 hole championship golf course here!

THE HOTEL

The building has an elegant Victorian appearance and inside the main building there are eighty-one bedrooms and ten suites furnished in a contemporary and elegant style.

There are a number of dining options including Browns at The Mere and the Club Lounge and Bar, all overseen by Executive Chef Paul Jobling who selects locally sourced, seasonal to produce mouth watering menus! There is also a Spa and Lounge Health Club next to the leisure facilities, and the cryptically titled 11th Green snack and drinks bar for all those in-between periods

THE SPA

The fabulous Health Club and Spa offers everything you need to unwind and relax –why not choose from a world-class workout area, a stunning pool, a hydrotherapy pool and thermal zone-which includes: a hammam room, sauna, salt room, steam room and a caldarium.

You can choose from a wide selection of premier spa treatments from Carita and Aromatherapy Associates, including purifying facials & skincare rituals, deeply relaxing massages and body treatments.

Take advantage of treatments such as: a Golfer’s Swing Massage, reflexology and a Rasul thermal mud haven amongst a host of other top-to-toe options, catering to men and women alike they provide something for everyone’s relaxation needs.

Other leisure facilities include tennis courts and a gym- or play a leisurely game of golf on the 18 hole golf course (you can practice your swing on the floating driving range)
