What does it look like?

Barcelo Cheltenham Park Hotel is a wonderfully grand country hotel ,backing onto woodlands, with a little brook which was lit up when we arrived in the evening.

What happens when you get there?

The reception looks fantastic - particularly grand and gracious. The receptionist booked us all in and our bags were taken to our rooms for us.

What do the bed rooms look like?

Our twin room was spacious, had all the usual modern conveniences like hairdryer, tv, tea and coffee making facilities and had a great view of a stream and waterfall.

What was the food like?

We went down to the bar for a pre-dinner drink and then carried on through to the restaurant. This has just had a million pound refurbishment and you can tell from the well trained waiting staff to the fantastic panoramic views from all of the windows onto woodlands and the grounds. Our three course dinner was served efficiently and was thoroughly enjoyable. There was a great comfortable atmosphere and a lot of very happy contented customers.

What were the Spa Facilities like?

There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, great steam room and showers and a few loungers.

What were the treatments like?

The treatment rooms are a lovely shade of red and feel very welcoming. I had a mini pedicure and walked out of there as if walking on air! This hotel is good for everyone couples, families or groups. The staff are always smiling and happy to help and the offers here are great value for money.
