What does it look like?

The long winding drive within the estate leads you to an absolutely fabulous manor house.

What happens when you get there?

We parked the car outside and entered the small, snug-like reception area. The Receptionist was delightful, chatty and helpful and asked us if she could get the bags taken along to the bedrooms.We left the reception and walked to another building housing the bedrooms.

What do the bed rooms look like?

Superb! The room was huge,with a split level area for table and chairs which opens onto your own private balcony.I was blown away by the views of the grounds of the estate, outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts - they are unbelievable!

What was the food like?

We all had a pre dinner drink at the cellar bar/cafe area where we were served promptly and passed the time of day with the bartenders. We were then shown the restaurant and we were not disappointed by their menu. All three courses were delicious and were washed down by an excellent bottle of wine.

What were the Spa Facilities like?

The spa is in a separate building again but only 1 minute walk away from our bedroom. We were greeted by a very friendly spa receptionist and given towels and robes.The swimming pool , sauna and steam room are clean and relaxing. The sanospa beds are fantastic. These are individual jacuzzi beds which pump jets of air at all different angles of your body. It was really revitalising.

What were the treatments like?

The facial was very relaxing and I thoroughly enjoyed my pampering. This is a great venue if you really want a relaxed getaway weekend and need to spoil yourself with a bit of "me" time.
