I booked myself in for a facial at Serenity Spa and what a delight! It was truly fantastic!  My skin glowed for days afterwards and even my husband noticed!!

What does it look like?

Cisswood House is a welcoming, homely country house set in fabulous grounds.

What happens when you get there?

The reception area is charming with an open fire and various little snugs with leather sofas. The reception staff booked us in and told us where our rooms were.

What do the bed rooms look like?

Our room was large and airy with sturdy hardwood furniture, decorated in earthy colours befitting an hotel of this type.

What was the food like?

Dining here was a fabulous experience because everything tasted so delicious. The three course dinner was scrumptious with a great menu to suit all tastes.I also had a cream tea on arrival (scones, fresh cream, jam and strawberries) which I can thoroughly recommend. Afterwards we had a nightcap in the adjacent bar.

What were the Spa Facilities like?

Cisswood House has a good sized pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There are several loungers and it has a nice feel to it. There is also a gym for the more energetic amongst you.

What were the treatments like?

I had a 60 minute facial at Serenity Spa. My therapist Karen,was lovely and totally put me at ease The treatment was truly fabulous and one of the best as it also extended along my shoulders and my scalp. I left Cisswood House feeling totally revitalised and have actually been bac again since then. A fantastic way to pass the time!
